Tiny Lives

The Neonatal Unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle upon Tyne specialises in saving babies' lives. Every year, 600 premature or ill newborn babies are admitted to the hospital from across the North East, with up to 30 babies being looked after at any one time.

Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT) is the largest adult and childhood brain tumour charity in the UK. We are the largest dedicated funder of brain tumour research in the UK; we run a dedicated national helpline for anyone living with, or affected by, a brain tumour; and we raise awareness to ensure early diagnosis and treatment for everyone affected by a brain tumour. Since the charity was set up in 1996 we’ve raised £10m for our vital work.
