Ramblings
Life as a professional rugby player can be pretty intense, then conversely you have a lot of down time where you need to recover, relax and prepare. Spending time with friends and family has always been a great way for me to chill out and make the most of the breaks that we do get.
Sparks and I became masters of finding things to do. If it wasn’t films or a series DVD, it was Hacky-sack, Frisbee or “Sardines”. More often than not, as is still the case now, it was just relaxing in front of the TV for a while. We worked our way through most of the films that were around but after a while we were running out of new ones to watch. This is where the interest in cinema’s forgotten heroes came from. We both have our favourites and our “not-so” favourites and are fiercely loyal to our heroes.
Whenever Sparks and I chat about this topic most people find it hard to understand what we're going on about, here is a chance for you to try!
